Catching up with friends is one of the best byproducts of the Horizon Tour road trip!
When I first moved to Torrance in the South Bay near Los Angeles, I met my friend Jonny at the local coffee shop I began to frequent. He and I became fast friends–he was always down for spur of the moment adventures like going to the beach at midnight, trying out local ramen restaurants, or long drives to nowhere.
When I up-and-left Southern California to head back to Portland for the Horizon Tour truck build-out, we were sad to know we wouldn’t be seeing each other multiple times a week.
Upon my return to SoCal, we were able to find some time to meet up for food and hangs. We went to Bread Lounge in the Los Angeles Arts District. YUMMY!
The arts district is a really cool part of LA to visit. Beautiful street art and cool cars everywhere!
