Most people don’t think of Utah as a good vacation or travel destination, but it’s full of really beautiful landscapes you can’t find anywhere else. I mean, just think about the Great Salt Lake, and Bonneville Salt Flats.
If you read my last article, “The Straw That Drove the Camel to Life on the Road,” then you know my decision to take off sort of came out of left field. Between feeling stagnant with MotoLady, a lack of money for California adventures, and a recently bruised heart… I needed something to change.
The first leg of the Horizon Tour took me to Crater Lake National Park in Southern Oregon after a really short overnight at a rest stop. I haven’t been through this area since I was maybe seven years old, so it was much overdo.
